If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you may already know about my obsession with Tubby Todd. If you’re new around here, let me briefly break it down for you.
When Liam (my oldest) was a baby, he developed eczema around 3 months old. We tried all of the over the counter creams and lotions that everyone suggested but we still didn’t see a difference. That’s when the prescription steroids entered the scene. That was the first time I ever saw any sort of healing. Back then I used it quite a bit, before I knew about the side effects that came along with it. But as we added children, all who developed eczema around 3-6 months, and learned more about the steroids I had been using on them, I knew there had to be something more gentle for their skin.
I don’t even know how, but one day a couple of years ago I stumbled across the Tubby Todd instagram feed. I kept seeing people’s amazing reviews about their products…especially the All Over Ointment. I was skeptical to try ANOTHER cream, but the reviews looked promising so I thought it was worth the risk and ordered it right away. When I got it, I took some “before” pictures and started using it on Desmond. The improvement I saw in just a few short days amazed me so much and made me an immediate believer. I ended up doing a review on my blog and shared my experience with it. (You can it read HERE.) When I shared that blog post, there were so many people who decided to order it and they came back to me to tell me how much they loved it too!

This past fall, after a year and a half of using Tubby Todd products (and because I had a lot of new followers that weren’t around the first time) I wanted to share another review just to show how much we still loved it. (You can read that one HERE. The before and after pictures in this one are crazy!) And yet again, more people ordered and more people fell in love. Both of those blog posts were unsponsored–I just wanted to share my genuine love for this product that had helped us so much.
Of course the All Over Ointment is my favorite product. But now that we’ve tried everything, I think it’s safe to say that we love it all! I think Tubby Todd deserves all the credit for giving Clementine such great skin. She has been my only child to never get a bad eczema outbreak. And I believe it’s because she has only ever been bathed with Tubby Todd products. And now we’re starting Primrose off the right way. She got her first bath yesterday and we finished up with some of their lotion.

**p.s. because I always get comments from people telling me that eczema is a gut issue and that we should try changing our diet–we’re not interested in doing that. I’ll be honest and say I really haven’t researched it but Tubby Todd has been working SO well for us and it’s a lot easier for us to use that than to completely change our diets. Plus all of our children have pretty much grown out of it by the age of 3. If our issues were more severe, I would certainly look into it more but this is what works for us and we love it!
