I have sort of been MIA this past month. Between homeschooling, housework, house projects, and living life, I have not had the time or motivation to sit down and blog. I have also barely pulled out the DSLR since Desmond was born. I’m trying to change that. But in the meantime, I’m so thankful to be able to have a decent camera on my phone to document our lives right now.
Sorry for the massive amount of pictures. I prefer to put them in collages to make it shorter but that requires more time. I knew I would never finish this post if I did that. So here is our September in iPhone pictures…
ice cream is always a work of art
In September we celebrated 8 years of marriage. Mayci snapped these pictures for us on my phone.
On our actual anniversary, I had 4 kids who were determined to drive me crazy. But I was determined to eat ice cream. In the end, I came out the champion.
I’ve been dreaming of a fun front door for years. I finally pulled it off and it makes me happy every time I see it!
And because I sort of really love a good before and after!
Apple picking is a favorite fall tradition. This year we could only find one tree of edible apples but we did get donuts and we had a good time anyway.
One of the many perks of homeschooling is being able to go to the zoo while other kids are in school. And then being able to count it as school hours.
This little girl has so much personality
5 pirate costumes for Talk Like a Pirate Day + 2 Krispy Kreme locations = 10 dozen FREE donuts!
We had to miss out on the Balloon races in Forest Park but we did see them floating by our house that evening. These pictures are through the binoculars.
This year has been the year of winning contests for me. As of this past week, I have won 7 prizes! This amazing diaper bag was one of my prizes.
Where the Wild Things Are exhibit at the St. Louis Library
another before and after! It’s amazing what a little bit of white paint and some gold spray paint can do for an ugly piece of furniture.
sonic waffle cone sundaes are AMAZING
My super talented friend, Rose, made some adorable headbands for Evangeline. All the kids wanted to try them on when we got them in the mail
This little guy will be 3 months on Monday. He has been sleeping 11-12 hours a night (without waking up a single time) for the past month, his smiles are contagious, and I love him with all of my heart.
When you throw a super lame super moon party on a cloudy night and you can barely see the moon. The clouds parted as soon as the Griesses left and our kids went to bed but I still think this picture is hilarious.
Speaking of contests, this picture got me a $100 gift card to Schnucks! I watched a movie called The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio the other night and it’s totally motivating me to keep entering(winning) contests!
If you made it to the end, I’m impressed! Happy October!
