Today is the day that we’ve been looking forward to for a couple weeks. Our camera finally came! As soon as the battery was charged, I popped it in the camera, turned the dial to “manual,” and started snapping pictures. I want to avoid any temptation to turn the dial to “automatic.” While the pictures are not perfect, I can tell they are a huge improvement over any point-and-shoots and phone cameras (obviously.) The quality on this thing is amazing!

The other day, Maggi and I were laughing about the Tributes portraits in “Catching Fire.” This would be Evangeline’s.
I simply said “Don’t smile.”
Night shooting is going to be a tad more difficult but I couldn’t resist this face.
And here’s one that I snapped with my phone yesterday. Kingston randomly fell asleep on the couch. I knew that was a bad sign. This kid never does that. Turns out, he was sick 🙁 All better now! Hoping for a healthy week!
