The day has come and gone. 6 days later, I’m still exhausted. I was so excited for the day, as I have been praying for it to come for many years.
After a night of very little sleep, we woke up bright and early to get ready for the day. As I’ve already mentioned, the hotel served a yummy breakfast (the pancake being the best part.) The morning was very easy going (at least on my end) and I didn’t feel rushed. Merri did a terrific job fixing my hair. I was very thankful for her help! I got a lot of compliments on it 🙂
It was a pretty hot day and we were taking pictures outside. I can’t wait to see what Billy got but here are some of the pictures I took that morning. I didn’t really grab my phone to take pictures too often. I just wanted to enjoy the day and not worry about taking too many. That’s what Billy was there for.
Then we made our way to the church for them to get family pictures. I felt cool, calm, and collected all day. Really, all day. Up until 1:20. We were sitting in the Bride’s room, waiting until the 1:30 wedding started. And all the sudden, nerves hit me in the face. I believe I even screamed. I also successfully got Maggi worked up at that point. However, she was blessed with a generous offer from Tim’s brother (who she walked down with.) He said “If you fall down, I’ll fall down too.” How kind! About the time we were going to walk through the doors, I took a nice, deep breath and all the nerves left. Let’s get the wedding on the road!
I don’t have any photographic proof of the wedding after this point. But trust me, they got married. And it was awesome. And I’m so happy for both of them. It was a beautiful wedding with tears and laughter, with Christ being the focus of it all.
I love you Tim and Stef! Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day!!
And for the last time in relation to the wedding—–
